You can cancel at any time. Canceling is fully self-serve, with no cancellation fees; the steps depend only on where you subscribed — website or iOS app.
Cancel a web subscription
If you subscribed on the use.ai website:
- Click the Cancellation hub button above — it takes you to use.ai/subscription/cancel. Sign in with the email on your subscription.
- Choose Cancel subscription and confirm.
Cancel an iOS App Store subscription
If you subscribed inside the Use AI: AI Chat app on iPhone or iPad, Apple bills you, and only Apple can cancel it:
- Open Settings on your device and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select Use AI: AI Chat, then tap Cancel Subscription.
What happens after you cancel
- You keep full access to your plan until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- When the period ends, your account moves to the Free plan — everyday chat with Use AI Instant at limited capacity. Your chats, projects, and files stay in your account.
- On the 7-day trial, cancel any time before the renewal on day 7 and you keep trial access for the rest of the 7 days — see How the trial works.
- Until you cancel, your plan renews on its own — see Does my subscription automatically renew?
- You can resubscribe whenever you like.
Deleting the app does not cancel
Removing the app from your device, or not using your account, does not stop billing — and for Apple-billed subscriptions, neither does deleting your Use AI account. Always cancel using the steps above.
Charged after you canceled?
Two causes are worth a quick check:
- The subscription is billed by Apple. Canceling on the website doesn't stop it — check your device's Settings → Subscriptions.
- The subscription is on a different account. If your plan shows Free but charges continue, you may have subscribed under another email or sign-in method.
If neither applies, email help@use.ai with your account email and the charge date — usually faster than a bank dispute. To identify a charge on your statement, see Understanding your charge.
Refunds are governed by our Terms & Conditions — see Refunds for how to request one.
