The 7-day trial gives you the full Pro plan at a small introductory price. On day 7 it becomes a monthly subscription unless you cancel first. Here's how it works.
The small charge is your trial fee
The trial fee is $1, or the equivalent in your currency. Depending on your payment method it may be charged as two payments of $0.50 — this validates that your method supports recurring payments. It's the price of your 7 days of Pro — not a hold, and not the subscription price, which is shown at checkout.

What happens on day 7
- Exactly 7 days after you start, the trial renews as a monthly subscription at the regular price you saw at checkout.
- After that, it renews monthly on the same date until you cancel.
Your allowance during the trial
During the trial, your premium-model allowance applies daily, proportional to the monthly allowance. Once the trial converts, the standard weekly allowance takes over. See How usage limits work.
Canceling before the renewal
You can cancel at any point before the renewal. Where you cancel depends on where you subscribed:
- On the website: use the Cancel subscription button — the self-serve page at use.ai/subscription/cancel.
- In the iOS app: Apple handles your billing — cancel in your Apple subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel.

After you cancel, you keep Pro access for the rest of the 7 days and aren't charged again; your account then continues on the Free plan.

Upgrading during the trial
Upgrading to Pro or Max during the trial takes effect immediately, and your allowance changes with it: instead of the trial's daily allowance, you get the full weekly allowance of the plan you choose, right away. Compare plans at use.ai/pricing.
